I wish to reserve a tent camping site in area B at Lynx Lake, near the restrooms. Kindly assist me with this request. We currently have bookings for May 5, 6, and 7 in D 20. What steps should I take to change to B, which is adjacent to the restroom?

    • Hello Tamarah,

You’ll need to reach out to Recreation.gov directly to inquire about any available spots near the restrooms for your visit at Lynx Lake. The contact number is: 877-444-6777. Be sure to have your reservation confirmation number available.

I have an annual pass for national parks. Does that grant access to Lynx Campground, and if it does, is there a discount for overnight stays? We visited the lake yesterday, and it was exceptionally clean and stunning, so we are excited about camping, but all the sites were fully booked.

    • Hello Carmen,
The Annual National Park pass grants access to any National Park for an entire 12 months from the date of acquisition. However, Lynx Lake campground is not included within a National Park, so it is not necessary for entry into the campground; nevertheless, you must obtain a reservation for a site. Click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button to check availability, pricing, and to book a reservation.

  3. Shawnise Bosina says:

Are there any sites with electric hookups? Is the use of generators permitted, and is there a specified quiet time for their usage?

    • Hello Shawnise,

There are no sewage disposal services or RV hookups present at Lynx Lake campground. Quiet hours run from 10pm to 6am. Generators may be used from 7am to 9pm.

    Barb Statz says:

Is our lifetime senior pass valid at the park? If so, are there any restrictions?
    Barb

    • Hello Barb,
The Prescott National Forest Pass, Interagency Annual Pass, Interagency Senior and Access Passes, along with the Every Kid in a Park Pass are honored at all standard amenity fee locations in Prescott National Forest (including Lynx Lake campground). The Interagency Annual Pass is acknowledged nationwide at federally managed standard amenity fee sites and also exempts entrance fees at National Parks. The Interagency Annual Pass program eliminates the need to purchase separate passes at different National Forests across the country.

You can click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button found on the Lynx Lake campground page to check availability, pricing, and to make reservations.

When does the Lynx Lake campground begin to accept reservations?

  6. mustafa kilcak says:

I am wondering if first come first served is an option at Lynx Lake Campground or any Cole campgrounds.

    Thanks!

    • Hello Mustafa,
Every site at Lynx Lake campground can be reserved, and all are completely booked for the next 14 days (at the very least). You might want to take advantage of our Campsite Assist tool to get alerts if/when a site becomes available for the dates you wish to camp.

  7. Edward Polomski says:

    Next available?

    • Hi Edward,

You can click the ‘Make A Reservation’ button to check the next available campsites, pricing, and confirm a reservation at Lynx Lake campground.
Furthermore, you can receive alerts if a campsite becomes available on your desired camping dates by using our Campsite Assist feature.

  8. Toni Lynn Polonus says:

We have a reservation for June at loop G space 28.
Are there any pictures available that capture the view from that spot? Super excited to visit!

    • Hello Toni,
I’m sorry, but we don’t have any images illustrating the view from G28 at Lynx Lake. However, the campsites and campground are beautiful, and you’re sure to have a great time!

  9. Esther Kim says:

Hello. I made a reservation for campsite 33, and the campsite information states it may have up to 13 steps. Is that accurate? The picture of the campsite did not suggest that. I might have to switch campsites if the number of steps to access the vehicle and get back is too high.

    • Hi Esther, the photograph we possess of Lynx Lake campsite #33 is correct, but it entails a short walk of roughly 161 feet (from the parking area) as stated on Recreation.gov.
